Raashi Khanna is an Indian actress and singer who primarily works in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She was born on November 30, 1990, in New Delhi, India, and grew up in different parts of India due to her father's job in the Indian Railways. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi.
Raashi made her acting debut in 2013 with the Hindi film "Madras Cafe", directed by Shoojit Sircar. She then made her Telugu debut in the same year with the film "Oohalu Gusagusalade". Her performance in the film was well received and earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress. Since then, she has appeared in several Telugu and Tamil films, including "Joru", "Bengal Tiger", "Supreme", "Hyper", "Imaikkaa Nodigal", "Adanga Maru", "World Famous Lover", and "Aranmanai 3".
Apart from acting, Raashi has also lent her voice to several songs in Telugu films. She made her singing debut in 2014 with the song "Joru" from the film "Joru". She has since sung for several other films, including "Bengal Tiger", "Jai Lava Kusa", and "Venky Mama".
